So you want to learn the Guitar

but you just don?t know where to begin?

I?ll start by saying STOP STARING at the picture

and ponder if she?s wearing anything down there.

Here are some links and my comments:

http://www.projectsandhobbies.com/guitar_and_piano_chords.htm

It?s a basic guide for any beginner. It shows the positioning of the 7 major chords. Not really in depth but enough to begin with.

http://midnightdruggist.com/homework4.htm

Once you are confident with the chords one should begin with a little practice which uses all your fingers. The pinky or should I say your last finger is not used that often but there?s no harm in training them. Other exercises will be displayed

http://guitar.about.com/library/weekly/aa071200b.htm

A much more detailed webpage on guitars. If you really have the time to read all of it I?m sure

you might become a pro.

http://www.guitarnoise.com/

I don?t particularly favour this because I hardly know any of the songs they give as practice.

It?s always nice to hear what others have to say on guitar so just keep yourself updated.

If you have the money to but a complete list of chords program as well as edit your own tunes,

this is the best place to download it. I haven?t tried out the software but based on the comments

written on GuitarPro magazine this should be the one.

The only thing I hate about this is that you have to register yourself and hear what others have to contribute

you have to pay a SMALL FEE. You could try other sites listed on the front of the webpage.

http://www.all-guitar-chords.com/guitar_scales.php

For those who are constantly online or have those limitless usage of modem this page is great. It

Allows you to generate any chords that you need for playing your favourite songs. Please remember

To be a great guitarist there is no need to know every chord.

Very very lengthy in descriptions that aren?t all that necessary. What I like about this is the scale

generator. Try it. Trust me on this! Check out the lessons quite cool.

For those of you who are on the advance scale maybe you would like to try out new scales from

other countries or wherever they get the weird names from.

http://www.guitarnotes.com/guitar/Links/notes.cgi?tab_faq

If you are having problems reading tabs here?s a page filled with the basics.

Don?t be shy go on and explore the rest of what this page has to offer especially the whole wall

chart filled with chords.

http://www.cyberfret.com/

My cousin recommended this site. This site is mainly for those who are already good players and would

Like to know other players points on improving their guitar skills.

http://www.freeguitarvideos.com/

Features mainly certain styles of playing the guitar. Need QuickTime for most of the demonstrations.

http://www.harmony-central.com/

It?s similar to cyberfret.com.

Ever wonder why some progression are played like that and sound more jazz than rock? This site helps those

who are more into the theory side of music{guitar}. 3 cheers for Randy everyone!
